We are going to Idaho for most of the month of August. We live 18 miles from Disneyland, 5 miles from Newport Beach, 1 1/2 hours from San Diego, and even closer to LA (about an hour). We figured we may as well ask if anybody wants to stay in our place while we're gone. No point in leaving our apartment empty for a month (in such a hot vacation spot).
I looked up the price of the cheaper motel/hotels in Anaheim and Newport. The average price for those is $60 - $70 per night. We'll charge $40 per night or $245 per week. Pretty good deal if you ask me! It's a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment. One room has a queen bed and the other has a toddler bed and a crib. I could probably get my hands on a twin bed if I need to. We also have a big couch downstairs.
