Brian and I sat down yesterday and figured out what I am going to do! I only have to add 2 more classes to get my minor because I already have to take most of those classes and do the required internship for my major! If I take 16 credits every semester and do 8 in the spring and 6 in the summer, I will be done with a major and a minor by April 2010! That is if Brian gets into the masters program at BYU. I would still have to take some random Independent Study courses because to graduate, I have to have 120 credits, but even after my major and minor, I will still be short on my overall credits.
If he doesn't get in here, I'll just have to independent study a semester or two. That will be pretty expensive, but it beats having to transfer and lose all of my religion credits and have to deal with other credits not being transferable. I still don't have a great plan if he doesn't get in, but I at least know one option.

BYU Independent Study classes are actually ALOT cheaper then the real classes. Mitch decided to take one this fall and it saved us like $200!
Good luck with everything. In the end it will all work out, it always does.
Erin I love your blog. Good luck with classes this semester! We need to hang out soon.
Ok so I read the other post first, and then this one. I am glad you figured it out. Hey did Brian ever find his keys after Seven Peaks?
Erin, I think you may be overthinking all of this a bit. Shoot to graduate with your bachelors degrees together but Masters degrees could be difficult. Some Masters only take 36 credits others more. I have seen Masters programs up around 60-66 credits (most of these are in the health fields, i.e. public health, counseling). Don't forget to enjoy college while you are there, after you finish you will be working for a LONG time!
Also, I would suggest going somewhere besides BYU for graduate degrees. It is generally better to get all of your degrees from different universities because it shows you have a broader range of perspectives within your field.
